ViaWest today announced a partnership with Wayin, an online social engagement company. For the two Denver-based companies, the partnership enables their teams to join forces to promote and support the Colorado business and technology communities.
As part of the technology side of the partnership, Wayin will implement ViaWest’s KINECTed Cloud™ service to host its employee and social engagement platforms: Wayin Enterprise and Wayin Hub. In addition, ViaWest is launching Wayin’s enterprise engagement solution, which enables the human resource department to gather employee feedback and sentiments on various questions, surveys and company initiatives.
Migrating from a global mass-market cloud provider, Wayin selected ViaWest’s cloud platform because of its customizable solutions and personalized support. Another aspect of the partnership will support both companies contributing to key events throughout Colorado. The first of those events will take place this Thursday evening, May 9, with a conversation featuring Wayin’s co-founder and chairman, Scott McNealy, and ViaWest’s CTO, Jason Carolan in a discussion titled: “From Landware to Cloudware.” The event takes place in Denver.
