Hibernia Networks is providing additional capacity to Transtelco’s IP backbone in order to address growing regional demand. Transtelco owns and operates long-haul and metropolitan fiber networks in the Southern US and Mexico with unique facilities-based network on both sides of the border. It’s IP transit capacity needs have increased three-fold, which led Transtelco to turn to Hibernia Networks.
Hibernia Networks’ fiber footprint is the ideal fit for Transtelco, as it allows for the augmentation of its service offering for IP transit and low latency, Ethernet-based services to better support the needs of it’s customers. Hibernia Networks’ scalable IP network runs on its IP backbone, which connects over 220 PoPs around the globe. The network’s high performance, flexible solutions have come to be relied upon by ISPs, content providers and enterprise customers requiring scalable IP connectivity.
