Tinet Ranks Sixth in Renesys' Latest Top 15 Global Backbone Rankings

Sitting strong among the world's largest global backbone providers, Tinet's IP backbone ranks sixth among the top 15. The top 15 in order of rank include: Sprint, Level 3, Global Crossing, Savvis, TeliaNet, Tinet, NTT, MCI/Verizon Business, TATA, AT&T, Telecom Italia, Qwest, Cogent, Cable & Wireless and PCCW. This is a tremendously strong position for the Italian HQ company. It was less than a year ago that Tinet was bought by BS Private Equity and separated from its former parent Tiscali.
