Megaport has added strategic PoPs in NYI’s New York and New Jersey data centers to enable direct, instant and scalable access for NYI customers to major cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform in addition to interconnection to leading internet exchange service providers. In turn, Megaport customers now have direct access to NYI’s full suite of infrastructure services including colocation, cloud computing bare metal and managed hosting services.

The combined offerings allow NYI customers the ability to create directly connected, scalable, hybrid and multi-cloud environments that offer high performance, as well as cost savings. As the first platform to allow companies to instantly manage connectivity from anywhere, on any device, Megaport empowers customers to right-size their capacity via global, on-demand SDN. Additionally, Megaport’s API allows for full automation of provisioning functions.
