MRV Communications announced that the company’s Director of Technical Marketing, Mannix O’Conner, will be speaking at The Trading Show Chicago 2016, taking place from May 18 to 19, 2016 at the Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois. The Trading Show Chicago brings together leaders in automated trading, quantitative risk management, big data and high-performance computing. Mr. O’Connor will be speaking to the critical role optical networking plays in financial trading, and
will provide attendees with actionable insight for enabling low latency networks.
“In today’s market, there is a race to shave microseconds and nanoseconds from transactions which makes a significant difference for high frequency trading and other time sensitive applications,” commented Mannix O’Connor, Director of Technical Marketing for MRV. “MRV’s OptiDriver platform dramatically reduces the latency inherent in the fiber optic network, over which the data travels. I look forward to taking a deep dive into this subject at The Trading Show Chicago and providing attendees with key takeaways on how to reduce latency on optical networks to improve the overall speed of their transactions.”
Mr. O’Connor offers more than 20 years of experience within the networking industry and will be speaking twice on Wednesday, May 18th:
- At 10:00am in the Exhibit Hall Seminar Theater, Mr. O’Connor will be presenting on the importance of reducing network latency via fiber optic links.
- At 4:00pm on the Exhibit Hall Main Stage, Mr. O’Connor will be joining fellow industry experts on the Network Connectivity panel.
MRV will be exhibiting at Booth 203 and will be demonstrating how its innovative solutions can help financial firms grow profits by significantly reducing latency in their networks. To arrange an onsite meeting with MRV, please email [email protected].
