Next week will be a very busy one for MRV Communications, as the company prepares to make appearances at two important industry events.
The global provider of innovative packet and optical solutions will be attending the SDN & OpenFlow World Congress, Oct. 12 to 16, 2015 in Düsseldorf, Germany, presented by Layer123. Zeev Draer, Vice President of Strategic Marketing for MRV Communications, will participate in a panel debate titled, “Bridging the Gap between Real-Time ManO and Legacy OSS.” The debate will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 5:35 p.m.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the pond, MRV will also be attending the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, Oct. 13 to 16, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The company will provide insight at the event into the enterprise cloud services and applications that drive more capacity requirements and new business models that are challenging existing network architectures. SCTE Cable-Tec Expo provides a variety of opportunities for participants to confer with colleagues while at the cable telecommunications engineering show of the year.
“The SCTE Cable-Expo offers us the perfect opportunity to provide insight into our solutions and strategies,” said Mannix O’Connor, Director of Technical Marketing. “MRV Communications was developed as a global supplier of packet and optical solutions that power the world’s largest networks. Our products combine innovative hardware with intelligent software to make networks smarter, faster and more efficient.”
At the SDN & OpenFlow World Congress, MRV will provide insight into the SDN technologies that will enable application-aware networks to prioritize business-critical services from end-to-end across the network.
“As operators evolve to offer software-centric business solutions, more applications like this will become critical to efficient day-to-day network utilization,” stated Zeev Draer, Vice President of Strategic Marketing for MRV Communications. “We are thrilled to be addressing this at the event and are looking forward to discussing MRV’s innovative technology that accelerates SDN/NFV performance. The SDN & Open Flow World Congress is an important event to examine the technologies supporting SDN principles.”
Delegates attending the SDN & Open Flow World Congress that wish to discuss SDN/NFV technology can visit MRV Communications at Booth 68. MRV will be at Booth 811 at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo.
