The Company’s Hylan Datacom & Electrical Division Moves to Larger Facility to Accommodate Growth
Following what’s been a fantastic year for business growth and expansion, Hylan, a market-leading provider of specialized communications engineering and construction services, has moved to a larger facility in Long Island City, New York.
The Long Island City facility is operated by Hylan Datacom & Electrical, a division of Hylan that offers an array of services for Datacom, DAS Installations, Electrical Contracting, Lighting and Electrical Maintenance, Utility Construction, and Emergency/Disaster Recovery. The company performs installation, maintenance, and emergency services for public and private projects of any size, with experience that includes work on streets, roadways, bridges, manholes, utility substations, wireless and utility poles, aerial and high tension sites, commercial, industrial, and government buildings, plants, stadiums, airports, railroads, hospitals, and other types of specialized location work.
“Our new facility is the latest example of the continued growth Hylan has been seeing over the last several months,”comments Carmine Manna, Chief Operating Officer of Hylan Datacom & Electrical. “We started in the New York area over 50 years ago, and have since expanded our reach significantly, serving customers across many industries and states. With strategic acquisitions and expansions to new markets, Hylan has really found its footing as a nationwide leader for turnkey communications and electrical infrastructure design – as well as engineering and construction services for wireline, wireless and smart city municipal service operators – and we are looking forward to even more growth down the line.”
In addition to the larger Queens location, Hylan Datacom & Electrical operates facilities in Philadelphia and New Jersey, and serves customers in a wide array of industries across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
