ViaWest, yesterday, celebrated the grand opening of its newest data center, located in Chaska, Minnesota.   The high-end facility encompasses more than 70,000 square feet of raised floor and will offer customers premium colocation, managed and cloud services and hybrid offerings, with 24×7 on-site engineers and service. The data center is also fully compliant, meeting PCI, SOC, SSAE and HIPAA regulations.

As with its other data centers, ViaWest will also pursue the North American Tier IV

VIPs, local businesses and ViaWest executives were on hand for a big welcome and ribbon cutting ceremony. Katie Clark Sieben, Commissioner of the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) was in attendance.
