GlobeNet continues to be recognized with prestigious industry awards– the very latest being Frost & Sullivan’s 2018 Company of the Year in the Latin American Carrier of Carrier Services Market. This marks the second year in a row that GlobeNet has been honored with this distinction, which recognizes the company’s commitment to introducing new technology across Latin America, superior customer support and overall value.

GlobeNet’s future-focused investments in both infrastructure and offerings, coupled with the company’s exceptional network reliability were key factors in Frost & Sullivan’s award selection process. In 2017, the company demonstrated its visionary commitment to addressing unmet needs by opening a top-of-the-line ICREA Level IV-certified data center in Barranquilla, Colombia. Also, GlobeNet partnered with to implement a crucial new Internet exchange point in Fortaleza, Brazil, which was completed in early 2018.

“It’s rare to find wholesale carrier service providers in Latin America concentrated on the unique concerns and requirements of customers. GlobeNet builds its entire strategy on satisfying the booming network demand in the Americas.” – Ignacio Perrone, Research Manager at Frost & Sullivan

As the company moves through the second half of 2018, it has again demonstrated a commitment to bringing best-in-class network capabilities to Latin America. In May, GlobeNet announced a forthcoming 2,500 km subsea cable to Buenos Aires, Argentina, which will be the first new route to the region since 2001.

“Since GlobeNet’s inception, we have aggressively expanded our network across the Americas, introducing products and services that anticipate and address current and future regional market demands. We continue to provide best-in-class support and value to our customers in Latin America and are very proud to once again be recognized by Frost & Sullivan for our hard work and commitment to excellence.” – Eduardo Falzoni, CEO of GlobeNet
