Alfred State College (ASC) has selected FirstLight to provide faculty, staff, and students of the college high-quality Internet and fiber optic wide area network (WAN) connectivity across the entire college footprint.

FirstLight has supplied back up Internet service to Alfred State College, enabling increased bandwidth and greater reliability.  FirstLight’s performance quickly surpassed that of its existing service provider’s capability, and FirstLight became the primary Internet provider and expanded its offerings to include WAN connectivity as well.   FirstLight now provides Alfred State College with multiple gigabit speed Internet bandwidth to its main campus as well as a dark fiber connection to a remote campus in Wellsville, New York.
