Hibernia Networks’ Wes Hanemayer and Dan Pope walked out of the Global Telecom Business Innovation Awards dinner in London on May 13th with sleek glass plaques denoting that Hibernia Networks had been named a winner. Hibernia was recognized with the prestigious award in the service innovation category for its broadcast cloud project for IMG’s Diamond League.
Hibernia delivered the cloud-based broadcast-quality HD TV solution with global reach to IMG in order to deliver supplements for international sporting events. The solution was designed leveraging the highest level of signal transport and an individually customized mixture of technologies within Hibernia Networks’ service portfolio.
“We are very proud of our work with IMG and honored by this award from GTB,” stated Al DiGabriele, Hibernia Networks’ Senior Vice President of Product Marketing. “In addition to utilizing Hibernia Networks 100% QoS network, we took advantage of our new Video-over-Public IP and streaming Content Delivery Network service platforms to deliver high quality service, as well as innovative and flexible solutions for IMG. The innovation of this project lies in its simplicity and how Hibernia Networks is able to bring IMG a solution that leverages the highest level of signal transport.”
