Ready for more news from 365 Data Centers? The hybrid data center solutions provider has been on a roll with hiring announcements recently — the latest is this morning’s news that James Ashton is joining the company as Director, Network Engineering.

This announcement comes just weeks after 365 made it known that Jeff Slapp was hired as Vice President, Cloud Services & Support and that Robert Allison joined the team as Director of Business Development. It’s a big year for 365 Data Centers, which announced that it acquired Host.net and its two Florida facilities in September.

“Over the past twelve months, we have expanded our data center footprint into ten markets, transformed the Company from a pure colocation business into a hybrid data center services provider, and added and expanded a coast to coast fiber network that also connects each of our facilities,” said Bob DeSantis, Chief Executive Officer of 365 Data Centers. “James Ashton’s breadth of expertise, including network architecture, engineering and peering, will contribute to 365’s continuous efforts to assure that our network, IP, DRaaS, backup and cloud services deliver a customer experience that exceeds expectations. At 365 Data Centers, we believe in making ‘Technology Humanized’ and that begins with having professionals like James on our team to further enhance the level of expertise available to our customers.”

James Ashton will provide technical leadership to the existing team of network experts who plan, implement, maintain and optimize 365’s nationwide network. Over an 18-year career, he has held NOC through architecture senior leadership roles for companies such as Progress Telecom, Level 3 Communications, eSolutions and WOW!
