Archtop Fiber’s New Senior Leadership Already Making an Impact

Archtop Fiber’s newest additions to its team have already made strides in bolstering efforts to continue to expand its presence in the Northeast.

Archtop Fiber is growing fast. Following several recent acquisitions and new market rollout announcements, the Archtop team is now sharing exciting news of the expansion of its own leadership team of telecom legends.

The Kingston, New York-based broadband provider announced the hiring of three industry veterans to its leadership team, bringing decades of experience and varying skill sets that will help position the company for further growth.

New to the team are Mike Scardina, Vice President of Engineering and Technology, who leads design and development of Archtop’s fiber network; Kevin Culver, Vice President of Finance, who oversees financial modeling, accounting, reporting and analysis; and Alex Harris, Vice President of Network and Systems Planning, who maintains back-office and operations support systems, CRM, information technology, leased network, and voice and support services.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Mike, Kevin and Alex in the Archtop Fiber family. These experienced telecommunications pros bring the right experience, drive and attitude to help us propel our mission forward to bring fast, reliable, environmentally friendly and affordable Internet access to underserved and overlooked markets across a 100%-fiber XGS PON network,” said Jeff DeMond, CEO of Archtop Fiber. “We are building our ‘rock-star’ team of future-focused leaders who share our passion for bridging the digital divide and providing new tech-driven opportunities to the communities that need it most.”

Archtop Fiber’s rollout plans include markets across New York’s Hudson Valley, most recently the City of Kingston, Town of Ulster and Town/Village of Saugerties. Beyond Hudson Valley, Archtop Fiber’s planned markets include New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
