American Tower is in the middle of a busy week of growing its Channel Partner program. Today, the company announced its second new channel partner in as many days. American Tower is welcoming COLOTRAQ, a global sourcing advisory firm for colocation, managed hosting, cloud and related network services, as a technology solutions broker.

COLOTRAQ agents now have access to American Tower Data Centers, including six Edge and three Metro facilities, for providing enterprises with end-to-end IT services. As the demand for 5G and other data-intensive applications grows, enterprises will need increased access to edge collocation networks that can process the data faster, closer to the end user. The agreement between American Tower and COLOTRAQ positions more enterprises across the U.S. to access American Tower’s network.

Growing Channel Partner Program

American Tower recently launched its Channel Partner program and has rapidly expanded its reach. Just yesterday, American Tower announced it welcomed Global Telecom Solutions as a technology solutions broker. This spring, the company announced Xaas1, a company with an established history of offering channel services to end users, as its first master agent. 

“As data moves to the edge and enterprise customers look to move data closer to the source of the decision, they are evaluating edge cloud centers, and American Tower is going to be a game-changer in that market,” said Meredith Caram, Chief Revenue Officer at JS Group, which is working closely with American Tower on channel development. “With the rollout of wireless technologies like 5G and the explosive growth of IoT, there’s never been a more exciting time to work in wireless.”
