In 2017, we celebrate our 10th and 11th Telecom Exchange (TEX), and will hold the events in NYC on June 20-21, and in LA on November 13-14.  In January, we announced our acceptance into the Forbes Agency Council, an invitation-only community for executives in successful public relations, media strategy, creative and advertising agencies. We have reached a critical point where cognitive and cloud computing, big data analytics, enterprise mobility, and of course, 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT) are transforming businesses of all types and sizes, worldwide. As we celebrate technology, JSA is committed to exceeding the PR, marketing and event planning needs of the converging telecom and technology industries. JSA’s Telecom Exchange (TEX) event – Where Communications and Technology Meet – held on June 22 this year in NYC is also expanding to Los Angeles in the fall. We have elevated the TEX website (check out our beautiful, new website here!) We continue our commitment in the telecom and tech media world with our JSA TV Virtual CEO Roundtables, one-on-one interviews, and onsite presence as an instrumental media partner at key industry events.  We have also brought JSA Radio, our industry’s source for the latest news and expert interviews with the innovators behind today’s top telecom and technology companies, into the spotlight.  We’re excited to announce that JSA Radio is now streaming Fridays at 12 noon ET on iHeartRadio! In 2016, JSA also unveiled “JSA Canada,” as we open operations in our great “Neighbor to the North!” We are also proud to welcome our amazing clients Cross River Fiber, DRG Undersea Consulting, New Jersey Fiber Exchange, Salus Telehealth, and Wilcon to our family, along with several new media and technology partners.


  • This year, we celebrate a decade of delivering exceptional Public Relations, Marketing, Design and Event Services to the telecom industry, and our ability to grow with our clients. We are kicking the year off with a number of exciting initiatives that include: a complete rebrand, including logo, website and reporting refresh; first-to-market networking initiatives at our annual Telecom Exchange event and an informal name change to simply JSA.  Our 10-year anniversary campaign also incorporates a series of new offerings:  JSA Radio, Virtual CEO Roundtables and an ‘Open Letter’ blog series on our industry-leading blog Telecom News Now.  We are also happy to welcome LightRiver Technologies , Construction-CAD Solutions, Cleareon Fiber Networks and MRV Communications to our client roster! Candace Sipos and Sarah Branner also joined our JSA family in 2015.


  • Social networking is a game changer for our business and our clients’ business in PR, marketing, sales, customer service, events, and other business activities. Thanks to social networking, we are able to communicate in new and innovative ways each day. From short video teasers on Vine to engaging discussions on LinkedIn, it is so easy – and fun – to share our news and our clients’ news and unique services all across the Internet (and smart devices!) In other 2014 news for JSA, we have had an amazing year for our Telecom Exchange events. Telecom Exchange West debuted in March in Denver, CO; and our 4th Telecom Exchange East was a huge hit in NYC. Our events team stayed busy with MEF’s GEN14, Time Warner Cable Business Class events, and rocked ITW 2014 with numerous cocktail events and receptions! This year, we expanded our JSA family and welcomed Jaclyn Riback, Jennifer (JL) Williams, and Courtney Burrows.  In exciting client news, we are honored to welcome Avotus,bBooth, BCS Global, Metcom, NexxCom Wireless, Padtec,RCN Business, Vertix Consulting and Westell.


  • JSA starts 2013 off strong by further incorporating inbound marketing as a key part of our core strategy to improve clients’ ROI and drive real leads. The first marketing methodology that takes every standalone digital marketing tactic and integrates it into a comprehensive whole, inbound marketing helps us to generate, convert, nurture and close leads into sales. In 2013, we welcomed a number of fantastic new team (family) members. Superstars Meghan Rose McNally, Matthew Pera, andVincent Ascolese joined our Accounts team. To perfectly time our decision to grow our own Telecom Exchange event and extend to the West Coast, our events team largely expanded with the wonderful new additions of Terri Goggins and Krista Puleri. Our art department grew with the addition of our amazing Art Director, Katherine Campbell. Last, but certainly not least, we had the honor of providing our services to our beloved clients, DatacenterDynamics, DE-CIX, FirstLight Fiber,  Metro Ethernet Forum (for its GEN14 event), New York Internet, PeakTNCI, and WireIE.


  • JSA hosted its inaugural Telecom Exchange (TEX) networking event at Cipriani Wall Street.  Over 100 exhibitors, 71 sponsors and 500 attendees joined us as we provided a neutral showroom for colocation and service providers in the New York tri-state area.  JSA also launched JSA TV, a virtual newsroom for telecom professionals, as another tool to help our clients  get the word out to their targeted marketplaces. Additionally, the company announced its newly structured Research Department, headed by Karissa Campbell.  JSA continued its growth strategy by welcoming industry vet Dean Perrine and Ashley Emmons. Lisa Garrison graced our team as Director of Finance, and soon grew into another role of Head of Business Operations. Our clients grew too, including welcoming Zayo and Lightower to our client roster.


  • This year, JSA officially commenced its Events department and hosted its first and second Telecom One-on-One (T101) events in NYC, encouraging telecom executives to “speed network.”  JSA also assisted at the International Telecoms Week (ITW) event on May 24-26 in DC, representing JSA’s fourth year as ITW’s PR firm.  In April 2010, JSA introduced the first issue of Telecom News and Trends (TNT), the industry’s monthly video newsletter.


  • 2009 ushered in significant growth for JSA, at a time when much of the global economy was staggering.  In January, JSA helped Hibernia Atlantic launch a new network build to link Northern Ireland with North America and Europe. Additionally, after its acquisition by a leading private equity firm, JSA assisted Tinet (now Inteliquent/GTT) in its unveiling. JSA signed Mzima Networks, TELEHOUSE,  and ITW 2009, and expanded its relationship with Arbinet (now PTGi). JSA also welcomed our beloved Karissa Campbell, Lauren Lemoi and Vanessa Eixman to the JSA team (family).


  • Jaymie Scotto Cutaia, founder of JSA, kicked off the year by establishing DealCenter, LLC, turning one of JSA’s event planning tools, an online one-on-one meeting management system, into its own company.  In February, JSA is selected by Tiscali International Network for its US Public Relations and then three months later, the company increased its relationship with JSA, selecting us for its global PR work.  2008 was also the year when client Lexent Metro Connect selected JSA to launch its new company brand and website.  And on July 18, JSA unveiled Telecom News Now, its daily industry blog featuring client and industry news.


  • JSA was founded January 2005 as the first and only PR and marketing firm dedicated to telecom by Jaymie Scotto Cutaia.  In March 2005, JSA signed its first client,Hibernia Atlantic, a global subsea and terrestrial cable operator, who continues to this day to be JSA’s longest client relationship.  In June 2005, JSA organized the telxCustomer Business Exchange, including sponsorship acquisitions, signage, vendor negotiations and attendee and media outreach.  In October 2005, JSA organizedHKColo‘s first HKCONNECT, an industry networking event held in Hong Kong.  In August 2006, Michael Corr joined the JSA team as Director of Brand Development.  And 2007 brought us such long-lasting client relationships as GlobeNet, 4ConnectionsAllied Fiber and more.
